It's been a mad day preparing for this weekends Car Boot Sale!

Whilst out and about around the town of Hay delivering posters I took the chance to get bits and bobs from Hay Market. It was great to see so many locals supporting this weekly event. I'm sure it has grown since last time I went. I made some great purchases, my favorite being an army cap for James at just £1.99 - bargain! This is going to be fantastic for his Army Birthday Party next weekend. I've already bought my army trousers!

Shop owners were chuffed to see the posters, ''people have been asking when Wye Local will be starting the Car Boots''. The answer is simple, this weekend!   

After posters were all delivered it was over to Hereford to pick up the signs, as always the sign writters have done a splendid job. Bright pink to catch the eye! This evening Co (I needed my darling husband's DIY skills!) and I put up the signs around Hay and Talgarth. 

I've just checked the weather forecast for this Saturday – I'm pleased to say the sun will be out, and no rain clouds in sight . . . fingers crossed them at the BBC are correct!

Already I have had various emails from people wanting to book a boot, of course there is no need to book so I have just asked them to turn up. The local community seem excited to have them running again this year.

See you all on Saturday I hope. Co and I will be very noticeable in our high-vis jackets!
