As in my previous blog I would like to share some exciting news (a little later than planned), the Badham family have moved to Winforton!

Right now (although snowed under with setting artwork for the Wye Local and Local Beacon magazines) I feel a very lucky young lady! Our lovely home is a beautiful 200 year old cottage in the countryside; we wake up to the sound of the birds, my favorite are the woodpeckers; for Mothers Day I had snowdrops from our very own garden, hand-picked by James himself, he was so so proud; the village has a very community feel, slowly but surely we're getting to meet the neighbours; Dolly Parton and her chicks have settled in well and are back to laying 5 eggs a day; James loves exploring the woods at the back of the garden, looking for fish in the pond and was so excited to learn he has his very own shed; Co is in his element lighting the wood burner each night and doing the odd spot of DIY . . . like I said, my family and I are very lucky to be living in such a beautiful house with beautiful surroundings.

On Friday my neighbour, Emma and I will be walking down to the local pub, The Sun Inn, to sample their lunch time menu – review will follow in April issue.
