Photography Competition Results 2008 PDF Print E-mail
In September issue of the Wye Local magazine there was a photography competition – the theme 'Our Local Area'. The response was fantastic, thank you to all of you who entered – we obviously have very many photographers in our community!
Wye Local has put together a fabulous 2009 calendar, containing some of the below images and some which were supplied after the competition – please see the 2009 Calendar article, on this site, for more information and how to buy one.
 
The results of the competition were:

1st Prize: A view from Newchurch Road, out of Clyro, looking towards Hay-on-Wye – by Juliet Lewis

2nd Prize: Winter in the Black Mountains taken from Giltwrch, Glasbury – by John Fitzgerald

 

3rd Prize: Driving up through the Olchon Valley with Hay Bluff on your right hand side – by Catherine Hughes
